M-30

La M-30 es una autopista de circunvalación que atraviesa  Madrid.  Este es un proyecto en el que fotografíe los lugares por donde pasaba, en un momento en el que se esta enterrando. Esta obra para mi suponía una especie de metáfora del cambio y del paso del tiempo en la ciudad.  Yo queria aferrarme a lo que estaba desapareciendo de los  barrios tal y como yo los conocía. Decidí fotografiar lo que para mi era la esencia de estos barrios, junto a la actividad de la obra como representación del cambio.

The M-30 highway is a ring highway that encircles Madrid. In this project I photographed the places through which it passes in one single passing moment. For me, this project was a kind of metaphore for the time going by and change in the city. I wanted to hold on to what was disappearing from the neighborhoods and to my memories of the places I knew. I decided to take pictures of what was the escence of those neighborhood for me, along with the construction work as a representative of the change.
